PREMA Theodore Racing posted solid results this weekend at Imola in the fifth round of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. Lining-up on the classic Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit, the team four-strong line-up brought home valuable points. Brazilian prospect Enzo Fittipaldi remained fully in the hunt for the championship with a double podium finish. After maximizing his chances with a fourth place in race 1, the Ferrari Driver Academy racer got a third place in race 2 before coming just short of a win in race 3, which was disrupted by plenty of running behind the safety-car.
British driver Olli Caldwell also scored three points finishes and celebrated a second place in race 2. He is now laying third in championship points. Gianluca Petecof fought hard during the whole weekend. The Brazilian rookie, also an FDA-Supported prospect, got three sixth-place finishes in the overall classification. On the other hand, Emirati female racer Amna Al Qubaisi, despite having to deal with a fair share of bad luck, secured two top-20s overall.

"It hasn't been such a great weekend for me as we just lacked the pace to move forward in the races. We took some opportunities and I did the best I could to stay there. In the end, I came back with three P6 finishes after starting P6 once and P7 twice, so still not bad. Now the focus is on improving the race pace. This weekend we lacked a lot compared to other weekends, for example, Misano where we were strong during the races and got best laps and everything. This weekend it wasn't perfect at all, but it happens in racing. We have to try to improve in the future. We are focused on the next round of the German championship at Nurburgring next week. A new track, I did only one day of testing there so it's going to be quite challenging, but it's always good that way."

“This was a difficult weekend for me, I made lots of mistakes that I will learn off for. Now we focus on the next races, looking to score more points and podiums.”

"It was a good weekend, I think we scored very good points. We are there, fighting for the championship and very close to the lead at the moment. Qualifying was good. We qualified in second and third. It wasn't what I wanted, which was pole position, but qualifying was so close, I think it was about half a tenth to the pole. We will just get another go next time, I'm really looking forward to the next races. There are just two rounds and six races left, and I think we'll have a good battle for the championship."

"Race weekend was okay. I had the pace but I was very unlucky with the first heat where I had to start last because of a penalty: I worked my way up to P20. Race 2 was very good. I started P25 and went up to P20. In Race 3 I was very unlucky again as I got a puncture from a driver who had contact with me at the start. I had to pit and I finished P23."
