Returning on-track after an outstanding 2017 season, PREMA Theodore Racing is ready to get back in contention in both the Italian and German FIA-promoted series. Relying on the good vibes of preseason testing, the team will field three cars this weekend in the ADAC Formel 4 championship opener at Oschersleben.
The team's roster will be once again a well-sorted mix of experienced racer and newcomers. Lining-up for his second F4 season, but for his first full-time assault to the German championship, 16-year-old Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi is looking forward to making a deserved step forward after delivering a podium finish last year in his only series outing.
He will be joined by two other rising stars. Olli Caldwell also entered a part season in 2017, focusing on his main program in the UK series, but left a strong impression which he confirmed in this winter's UAE Championship. He’s now looking forward to delivering as a top contender this season.
Last but not least, fellow 15-year-old Gianluca Petecof, from Brazil, will make his car racing debut moving to single seater at the end of a successful karting career.
Team Manager - Grazia Troncon
"This is set to be an exciting season. Enzo will capitalize on the learning 2017 season and I'm expecting to see him become a contender. Olli has a lot of potential so he will definitely be performing too despite being only 15. We don't count Gianluca out too. With his kart racing pedigree, his talent is out of question and I'm sure he will be up to speed quickly thanks to the support of the FDA program."
