PREMA Theodore Racing is set for its first grand finale of the year this weekend with a new addition to its roster. The Italian squad will line-up its four cars for the final round of the German ADAC Formel 4 Championship which will run for the third time this year at Hockenheim, and joining the full-time trio of Enzo Fittipaldi, Olli Caldwell and Gianluca Petecof will be Caio Collet. Like Fittipaldi and Petecof, Collet is Brazilian and was born in 2002 in San Paolo. The 16-year-old racer made his single-seater debut this year and is currently leading the French Formula 4 championship with five wins and ten podium finishes to his name.
The main challenge this weekend for the team will be to secure second place in standings with Fittipaldi and globally improve the running positions in both the driver and team classifications. Back on track after a memorable weekend that handed him three poles and three wins, Caldwell is now running seventh but has the potential needed to make huge gains. The same goes for Petecof: the 15-year-old rookie found increasing consistency and was able to score points and podium finishes in every possible situation.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"This is going to be an extremely interesting race. We are nearing the conclusion of the season and it's finally decision time. Our drivers will have to deal with pressure and learning how to manage it is obviously very important. In addition, we have great potential in terms of improving our championship position, and there will also be a new addition to the team. We are proud to welcome Caio to PREMA Theodore Racing. He has great talent and we can't wait to start working with him."
