With one month gone from the latest round of the series held at the Hungaroring in Budapest, the Formula Abarth racers are ready to get back on-track for the first round of their European Series and the first of the ACI CSAI Italian Championship. The action will re-start this weekend at Mugello and Prema Powerteam will be once again fielding the three cars and drivers that dominated at Valencia and in Hungary.
Luca Ghiotto is now leading the championship with 64 points, just one more than his rival Nicolas Costa, and already has two wins under his belt. While he ruled Valencia, his team-mate Bruno Bonifacio, lining-up with third place in standings with 58 points, scored two wins at Budapest. The third car will be lined-up for Giorgio Roda, who proved less lucky so far and is ready for a prompt rebound at Tuscany's racetrack.
Practice will kick-off Thursday, June 7 with a day of testing followed, on Friday, by one session of practice at 11:30, and two qualifications starting by 17:50. Race 1 will be broadcasted live at 14:10 on the streaming website acisportitalia.it, and as-live on Italian network Rai Sport 2 at 16:00. Race 2 will be held on Sunday at 9:10 AM, with live internet streaming and tv coverage on Rai Sport 2, while Race 3 will start at 18:05. In addition to the internet streaming, a delayed retransmission is scheduled for 23:30.
