The final round of the FIA F3 European Championship scheduled on October 21st at Hockenheim is still missing but Prema already has interesting news for what is considered the World Final of F.3 on the fast and technical street circuit of Macau, where the team of Angelo Rosin prevailed in 2011 with Daniel Juncadella.
One of the four Dallara-Mercedes will be reserved for Hannes Van Asseldonk, who participated in the British F.3 Championship in 2012. Van Asseldonk chose Prema for Macau, the Team for which he had already tested and raced in a few Formula Abarth Races in 2010 with excellent results.
“Having Hannes with us is a real pleasure”, says Angelo Rosin, Prema’s Team Principal, “I remember him being very fast and although he was at his debut he was able to accomplish impressive wins. After that experience in 2010 our paths divided but now we will work together again and aim at obtaining important results”.
“I am very happy to race with PREMA at the next 59th Macau Grand Prix. After the races and successes obtained together in 2010 in Formula Abarth we have always been in contact and finally our destinies meet again”, says Hannes Van Asseldonk. “PREMA has always been very competitive on the difficult street circuit of Macau and I am convinced that I will benefit from the proper means to compete at the highest level. After the good result achieved last year I can’t wait to go back on track. Macau is an atypical circuit where you can never lose your concentration as a potential mistake is just behind the corner, but I am motivated and focused to face this meeting in the best way and obtain a great result”.
