The FIA Formula 3 Championship is an entry point for talented young drivers who seek to develop and progress, while being provided with the foundation needed to establish a clear path to F2 and consequently F1. All the events in the calendar are part of the F1 support package, giving drivers the opportunity to experience racing in the Grand Prix environment.
Each driver has four sets of dry-weather tyres and two sets of wet-weather tyres available at each event. There are no mandatory pitstops and refuelling is not permitted at any time in the pit lane or on the grid.
