The fast streetcourse of Nurnberg, the Norisring, will host the fifth round of the 2011 Formula 3 Euro Series. As the top-notch developmental series is about to round out its 2011 midpoint, the Norisring race will be followed by rounds at the Nurburgring, Silverstone, Valencia and Hockenheim. Prema is set to line-up with three Mercedes-powered Dallara for Daniel Juncadella, Roberto Mehri and Gianmarco Raimondo. The two spaniards are currently standing at the top of the charts, with Mehri leading with 162 points and Juncadella right behind him with 134. It's been a brilliant start of the season for the squad fielded by Angelo Rosin, which cruised to three wins at Spielberg to total 8 wins over 12 races entered so far.
René Rosin - Team Manager
"The round at the Norisring is particularly exciting because it's the only Euro Series event run on a roadcourse. We are heading towards Germany sure to be able to fight for wins, and we'll try to fortify our standing positions with both Mehri and Juncadella. We're expecting some great results from Raimondo too, as he displayed some great skills at Spielberg in the first round he entered with us."
