PREMA Powerteam will be back in action with its full Formula 4 operation this weekend at Oschersleben, lining up for the opening round of the German, ADAC-sanctioned series. The technical venue, located not far away from Magdeburg, will welcome the full line-up for the team in 2019. Returning to action for what will be a busy and challenging season, 16-year-old Brazilian and Ferrari Driver Academy graduate Gianluca Petecof will be partnered by three new additions for 2019. Paul Aron will join the team straight from karting competition. The 15-year-old Estonian will thus be at his first outing in single-seaters after turning heads in kart racing.
Alessandro Famularo and Oliver Rasmussen, on the other hand, are entering their second season in Formula 4, the first under the PREMA Powerteam banner. Both the 15-year-old Venezuelan and the 18-year-old Dane are set for their maiden appearance in the German series. With preseason testing now in the books, the whole team is looking forward to staying in the hunt for good results.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"It is finally time to get back in action with Formula 4. It has been a long winter and we worked hard to stay at the front of the pack in both the Italian and German series. We have an extremely talented and diverse line-up of drivers, so it will be interesting to see the dynamics of the team - which we hope will be positive right away - in a racing environment."
