The German Formula 4 Championship knows no stopping in Summer 2019 as the ADAC-Sanctioned series will be back on track this weekend at the Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit for its third round in four weeks. The famous venue, perched in the Eifel forest of Rhineland-Palatinate, is hosting round five out of seven which is expected to be a key indicator of how the rest of the action will pan out.
The best-placed PREMA Powerteam drivers in points are Gianluca Petecof and Paul Aron, who are currently tied for sixth place. Petecof and Aron experienced swinging fortunes but delivered impressive runs featuring two wins for the Estonian Mercedes F1 junior and one for the Brazilian racer, supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy.
While Hockenheim race winner Alessandro Famularo will be absent for this round, Danish racer Oliver Rasmussen will try to carry the great momentum gained in the previous round with his first podium of the season. There are thus good expectations to see all the team's three cars at the top end of the spectrum at Nurburgring.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"We are looking forward to the coming weekend which will be a challenging one at the Nurburgring. Only Gianluca has racing experience there and he was pretty impressive last season. We showed we can be competitive with all four drivers though, so we now aim for the next step. There is still a lot of racing to come as we just passed the halfway point of the season. We hope to get more satisfaction and lay good groundwork for the final part of the year."
