Race 2 of the 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup round at the Hungaroring in Budapest. Won't end up in the history books of Prema Powerteam. None of the team's three drivers managed to score points in Hungary. After the rainy weather of Saturday, the sun made its way through the clouds on-track for Qualifying 2 and Race 2 today but the results were behind the early expectations.
Luca Ghiotto, who started from the 5th row, held the 11th position throughout the whole day. Bruno Bonifacio ended up in 14th after taking-off from the 15th position while Aurelien Panis kept his 18th starting spot under the checkered flag. The Prema stable is now looking forward to the next round set for the September 29th weekend at the French Paul Ricard venue in Le Castellet.
Angelo Rosin – Team Principal
“We can't be satisfied with today's race 2 as the results were clearly under our early expectation. The European championship is extremely high-level and does not forgive any mistake. Qualifying was key once again and we need to be more decisive, especially on a track like Budapest where, like today, there aren't many chances for passing”.
