After the tough yet positive trip to Le Castellet for the latest round of the Eurocup F.Renault, the Prema Powerteam F.Renault 2.0 staff is now headed towards Imola for the closing round of the 2013 ALPS Championship. The team, headed by Angelo Rosin, has already secured the teams' championship with a large margin, and has also mathematically clinched the drivers' series which will be awarded to either Antonio Fuoco and Luca Ghiotto. Ghiotto is still in contention with the Ferrari Driver Academy man while Fuoco is only one point away from the title.
Although it might seem only a formality, the Prema squad is ready impress at Imola as they will line-up to end the year with 100% wins. On paper it was a very difficult task, but it's closer and closer to be accomplished. Alongside Ghiotto, Fuoco and Bonifacio, the team will be fielding a fourth car for Hans Villemi. A top ALPS contender, the Finn will be at his maiden race with Prema after having joined them in pre-race testing, where he left a pretty strong impression with the management.
